Thanksgiving

This conversation just happened between Katie and me:

Me:  The thing I hate the most about Thanksgiving is that it is a totally sanitized version of history, showing only peace between American Indians and white people.

Katie:  And today we’re going to have Thanksgiving with my parents, and there will be white people and Indians all having dinner in harmony together.

Me:  (smiling)  And… just this morning, some white people and indians woke up in bed together and had great sex.

Katie:  See?
